 TCI Safe Safar 2.0

Recognizing the need of the hour that urges to focus towards the importance of road safety, TCI took its initiative on road safety and health, TCI Safe Safar, ahead by launching its second truck at Nelamangla, Bengaluru on 13th January, 2020, during the 31st Road Safety Week.

TCI Safe Safar 2.0 initiative was inaugurated by Shri DP Agarwal, Chairman & MD, TCI; Mr. Vineet Agarwal, MD, TCI; Daijiro Shiraishi San, MD, Transystem Logistics Pvt. Ltd.; Shri Prakash Pandey, President, KGTA; Mr. DR Rana, Regional Head, TCI Freight (Bengaluru) and Mr. Piyush Chachan, Regional Head, TCI Express Ltd (Bengaluru).

Speaking on the occasion, Shri DP Agarwal (DPJi), Chairman & MD, TCI stressed on the importance of road safety. He also stated that the second truck would now make rounds in the Southern and Eastern parts of India, while the first one covers the West and North, spreading awareness on road safety and health amongst millions.

Applauding the initiative, Shri Prakash Pandey, President, KGTA addressed the gathering on the norms on health and safety whilst on roads.

The inauguration was followed by the engaging Nukkad Natak that drew attention on adopting safe driving practices. The event also witnessed the presence of TCI Parivar members, members of KGTA and many of TCI’s esteemed customers.

The event concluded with everyone showing support by signing the pledge banner and taking the pledge to make every journey of theirs a Safe Safar.

This year also marks the completion of one-year of TCI Safe Safar, the initiative that has successfully conducted 142+ events, reaching out to approximately 14,400 drivers and covering around 18,500 pledges across 8 states thus far.

With two trucks in operation, TCI Safe Safar envisions to reduce the significant loss of lives due to irresponsible driving on roads.
