TCI participated with a silver sponsorship and a speaker slot at “The Dairy Summit 2017” organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Friday, 22 September 2017 at the Hotel ITC Maurya, New Delhi.
The Summit brought together various stakeholders, including TCI SCS CEO – Mr. Jasjit Sethi to interact and deliberate upon several issues including policy measures required by the Central and State Governments to realize the full potential of dairy sector by creating a growth conducive ecosystem.
The key objective of the event was to address the shortfalls that need to be rectified to boost the Indian dairy industry that include clean milk production, raw milk preservation, adoption of newer processing methods, new product development with value addition, extended shelf life of perishables, adoption of latest storage and packaging technologies, boosting export of dairy products, increase the average per animal productivity, using eco-friendly methods, reducing carbon foot print.
The Dairy Summit 2017 aimed at integrating technological advancements, environmental & ecological stewardship & technical knowledge for the dairy sector. It presented a reorganized format to make it even better suited for the prevailing dynamic dairy trade.
