# One Donation, Many Lives: TCI’s Nationwide Blood Donation Drive 2026

At TCI, the journey of moving India forward has always been guided by a larger purpose - creating meaningful connections with people, communities and the nation. This commitment came alive once again through TCI’s nationwide blood donation drive, organised in memory of our Founder, **Shri Prabhu Dayal Agarwal Ji (Shri PD Ji)**.

Held from **14 to 20 September 2026**, the seven-day initiative brought together employees and associates across the country in a collective act of compassion and service.

**A nationwide movement of giving**

This year, TCI’s blood donation drive was organised across **68+ locations** and witnessed the participation of **1,734 employees and associates,** including **1,641 male and 93 female participants**.

From Kolkata, Gurugram and Delhi to Rajkot, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and Varanasi, people across the TCI family came together with one shared purpose: to contribute towards saving lives.

The campaign reflected the spirit of collective responsibility that defines TCI. At every location, employees and associates stepped forward voluntarily, recognising that a single blood donation can make a critical difference for patients requiring emergency treatment, surgery, trauma care or long-term medical support.

**Honouring Shri PD Ji’s legacy**

Shri PD Ji was a pioneer of India’s transport and logistics industry, but his legacy extended far beyond business. He believed deeply in serving society and strengthening communities through meaningful action.

His contributions to healthcare, education, social welfare and women’s empowerment reflected this belief. His association with initiatives supporting the establishment of some of India’s early private blood banks demonstrated his foresight and his commitment to accessible healthcare and community wellbeing.

TCI’s annual blood donation drive is a heartfelt tribute to these values. It carries forward Shri PD Ji’s belief that the role of an organisation extends beyond commercial success that businesses must also contribute positively to the communities in which they operate.

The blood donation drive was not merely a CSR initiative; it was a reflection of the TCI culture. It brought together employees and associates across regions, functions and locations around a cause that directly supports patients and healthcare institutions.
